Join us for an unforgettable summer evening of music, culture, and community at Paul Quinn College, Dallas' only HBCU and a proud hub for innovation and entrepreneurship!
The Symphony, Salsa, and Soul Market is a vibrant, outdoor community celebration spotlighting the power of small business and the beauty of the arts. This FREE event uplifts Black, Latinx, and women-owned businesses from across the DFW area while welcoming the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for a live concert experience under the stars.
Whether you’re coming to shop, vibe, or enjoy world-class music, this night has something for everyone.

5:00–7:00 PM – Live DJ Set to Get the Vibes Going
7:00–8:00 PM – Uplifting Gospel Pre-Concert Performance
8:00–9:00 PM – Dallas Symphony Orchestra Outdoor Concert

This is a 100% outdoor event – bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and good vibes!
In the event of severe weather, cancellation updates will be shared via email and social media.
Free parking is available on-site.
There are no registration, ticket, vendor, or parking fees attached to this event.

The market will feature a curated selection of Black, Latinx, and women-owned small businesses and organizations from across the DFW area. Expect local brands, handmade goods, food vendors, services, and more! The vendor list is growing constantly, some of our featured vendors include:

This is a 100% outdoor event. In the case of severe rain or thunderstorms, the event may be canceled for safety. Weather updates will be shared via email and Paul Quinn College’s social media. Please register for the event so that we have contact information for you in case we need to communicate any changes.
Absolutely! This is a family-friendly and welcoming event for all ages. Children must be supervised by an adult.
Yes, leashed pets are welcome at the event! Please be sure to clean up after your pet and ensure they are comfortable in a crowded environment.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items and behaviors are not allowed:
Guns, knives, or weapons of any kind
Smoking or vaping of any kind
Coolers
Outside liquor or alcoholic beverages
🍷 Beer and wine will be available for purchase on-site from one of our vendors.
DART bus routes operate near the Paul Quinn College campus. Rideshare drop-off zones will also be available near the entrance.
